Charles J. Burgess, Jr., was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He received his undergraduate degrees from Texas Tech University, a BBA in Finance and a BBA in Economics. Upon graduating, he joined the U.S. Army Reserves and worked as a licensed financial consultant. Mr. Burgess received his law degree from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in 2005, becoming a member of the Texas Bar Association that same year. He received a scholarship to attend the Texas Criminal Defense Trial College in March 2007. Additional interests include the Fort Worth Rugby Club and Jiu-Jitsu.
Charlie Burgess has a passion for criminal defense law. He has defended clients on misdemeanor and felony charges through out Dallas, Tarrant, Parker, and Johnson counties. People who have criminal charges against them know how aggressive the police agencies and prosecutors can be. In many cases, persons accused need an attorney who is willing to fight to help them. Mr. Burgess is not only willing to fight for his clients, it is the sole reason he practices criminal law.
